Benefits of Enrolling in the Special Beginnings® Program

Special Beginnings es un programa que está diseñado para ayudarle a comprender y controlar mejor su embarazo. We recommend you enroll as early as possible. That way you can take advantage of all the benefits of the program.

Atención prenatal

During pregnancy, you have access to a Care Coordinator (trained nurse). They can help you set up doctor visits and tests. If you have health issues, it's good to know you will have resources to help. Your Care Coordinator will check in with you to talk about how things are going. You will also have access to educational classes and info to help you learn about what to expect and how to make good choices to stay healthy.

They will talk with you about how you and your baby are doing. Having trouble getting enough sleep? Dealing with depression? There are resources to help. Also, you can get a breast pump at no cost to you. Or earn gift card rewards when you complete a timely post-partum visit with your doctor.

Consultas preventivas para niños

¿Sabía que su bebé tiene que acudir a 6 consultas preventivas para niños en sus primeros 15 meses de vida?

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that your baby has 6 well-child visits in their first 15 months of life. These visits are important to make sure your baby is growing and developing in the right way. Call your baby's provider to schedule a well-child visit. Estas consultas son un servicio incluido en la cobertura.

Well-child visits are not for when your baby is ill. Su bebé no puede decirle si le ocurre algo. El profesional médico sabe qué observar durante estas consultas preventivas para niños.

You can earn gift cards when you complete these 6 visits for your baby. Find out how to earn and redeem gift cards.
