Advisory Groups

Help us help you. Would you like to provide feedback on ways to improve your health plan and get the most out of it? When you attend one of these meetings, you can learn about your plan and share ideas on that could help all members. The goal is to find out how we can serve you better.

These groups meet each quarter. Members who participate will get a $25 gift card.

Junta Asesora de Asegurados (MAB)

Your voice matters. When you join a MAB meeting, you can share your thoughts and learn about updates to your plan. You can also find out about programs, services, and ways to access care. MAB plays a key role in helping us improve your Medicaid health plan. BCCHP staff and community partners look forward to hearing your experiences and getting ideas to help improve your health care.

Consejo de Liderazgo Familiar (FLC)

You are invited to join the FLC. This group meets to discuss ways to help children with behavioral health and special needs. The FLC is a group of youth, parents, and community partners. They join forces with BCCHP to address issues and discuss ways to improve services. The goal is to create a team of advocates to better understand what families experience when they access public services on behalf of their children. A través del Consejo de liderazgo familiar, usted puede hacer lo siguiente:

  • Share your thoughts on how to improve children’s behavioral health services and services for children with special needs.
  • Ayudar a desarrollar un mejor plan de atención médica regulado por la familia.
  • Interactuar con otras familias para conocer otros recursos comunitarios útiles.

FLC meets each quarter in person and/or online.

Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) Advisory Group  

The LTSS Advisory Group is for members who receive LTSS in the community or in a nursing facility. This is an opportunity for both members and their caregivers to learn about programs and services. Puede hacer lo siguiente:

  • Share your experience and knowledge with us. This can help us figure out how to improve your health plan.
  • Network with others who care about improving health care.
  • Help to create solutions to everyday health care problems.
  • Connect with a BCCHP team member.

This group meets each quarter in person in various parts of the state, but there’s also the option to attend online.
