Ombudsman Program

The goal is to ensure a member receives quality care.

What are ombudsmen?

Ombudsmen help resolve issues for Medicaid members in who live in a long-term care setting. They can help keep an eye on the care you get. They can also speak up for those who can't speak for themselves.

Why contact an ombudsman?

You can reach out to:

  • Report a problem or concern that occurred in a long-term care facility
  • Find out residents’ rights to care
  • Learn how residents can take part in decisions about their care
  • Discuss an involuntary transfer or discharge from the facility
