Special Enrollment: Moving

Your address might not be the only thing that changes when you move. Your health care coverage might be different, too. Moving is a qualifying life event during Special Enrollment because you may lose coverage if you:

  • Move out of state, or
  • Move to an area within your state, but your health insurance plan or network is not available

If either of these qualifying events apply to you, you have 60 days from your move to change or enroll in a new health plan.
